Western Australian is a fantastic State with a beautiful natural environment with rich natural resources and a great place to live. The mark of any great society though is how it cares for those in need and it is well recognized that people with disabilities, their families and carers need additional support to live their lives as others do.

There have been numerous stories in the newspapers over the years of elderly parents concerned about what will happen to their children with disabilities when they pass away, parents struggling to find therapeutic support for their children with disabilities, young people with disabilities in nursing homes for the elderly because there are no other high care environments for them.

The time has come to do something about this situation.

West Australia is the only State to not sign up for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

We need to join the rest of Australia.

Why WA should sign up for the NDIS.
